SK Design Group, as the Civil Engineers on this project assisted in the masterplanning of the $60 million expansion of the facility and subsequently performed the civil design of the project. The expansion consisted of a 10,000 square foot convention center, a 200-room hotel, a 500-car parking garage, new surface parking facilities, a 30,000 square foot new casino, central plant expansion, new restaurants, new warehouse and a car wash facility. SK Design Group also performed an extensive hydraulic study to determine the effects of the improvements on the existing levee system and outfall structures.
