SK Design Group has provided civil engineering services on several projects at Starlight.

SK Design Group studied several alternatives to improve the water and fire protection services at the theatre including the extension of new water mains, additions of booster pumps, elevated tanks and ground-mounted storage tanks. SK Design Group has also prepared studies for the storm drainage and sanitary sewer service for the site. In addition, SK Design Group served as the civil engineer for the new 12,000 square-foot stage house addition and the new concessions and restroom facilities.

Starlight Theatre is the premier outdoor entertainment treasure of the heartland with 8000 seats “under the stars.” The original theatre was built in 1949; the stage house addition was completed in 2001.
