SK Design Group was the civil engineer for the new $17 million headquarters for Water District No. 1 of Johnson County. The district wanted to consolidate its services from the old four facilities into one site.

SK Design Group performed extensive studies for siting of the facility on this steep site with bedrock at one foot below the surface. Multiple options were studied to minimize the construction cost of the project. The project included an 80,000 square foot administrative office, 50,000 square feet of covered fleet vehicle storage and maintenance space, a storage yard, fueling station, material storage and a water tank.

SK Design Group played a major role in site analysis and masterplanning of the facility and provided complete civil engineering services for the project.
