Surveyor (Overland Park, KS) –Perform land surveying utilizing cutting edge technology including drones, GPS scanning, Trimble, topographic, ALTA surveys, construction staking, bathymetric surveys and aerial surveys; Perform survey data processing to ensure survey accuracy; Operate proficiently within AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS systems; Analyze survey reports of maps and aerial images for accurate planning of facilities design (oil/gas, storm and sewer drainage design plans) using Laser Scanning, Survey data processing, Georadar, and VMT (SLS-HR Guidance System); Perform survey calculations, research and preparation of CAD files, review deeds and title work information; Assist the civil engineering team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of engineering and development projects; Conduct engineering inspection and quality control for civil engineering projects; Coordinate surveying and data processing projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Topography, or Geomatics plus 2 years’ experience in job offered. As alternative to bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree plus 2 years’ experience is acceptable. Require skills and knowledge in Topographic Surveys, ALTA, Oil/gas facilities, storm and sewer drainage, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, VMT.
