New 7000 ton salt storage building at the Parks Department Headquarters at 11921 Hardy. SK Design as the prime consultant was responsible for the overall project management of a team of subconsultants that included survey, geotechnical, architectural, structural, and lighting. Our services included site planning to nestle this large building within the existing wooded site to screen it from adjacent residential neighborhoods and site design for the building, paving, material storage, mulch storage, and site utilities. We coordinated site access and circulation with Parks Department, and other City services on site. We obtained permitting from the City, County, State, and water utility. We also provided construction administration and observation for the project.
